N.B. Asteria performs their programs entirely from memory and seeks to cultivate a direct rapport with the audience through subtle interpretation and use of gesture and staging. Throughout their concertizing career, they have found that audiences are better able to appreciate this approach and be 'in the moment' if they are not simultaneously trying to follow each word or phrase on a translation sheet. To this end, Asteria prefers to provide text and translation synopses in their concert programs, rather than full texts, to aid the listener in determining the theme and composition of each song without undue distraction. In such a scenario, the full texts are viewable online, with the link clearly posted in the concert program. The web link to print in the program for this scenario should read as follows: http://asteriamusica.com/programs/flower.html or http://asteriamusica.com/programs/rose.html
Asteria acknowledges, however, that full text and translation sheets are sometimes expected or desired, and they do provide these below as well to be used at the discretion of the presenter.
