Welcome to the Dictionnaire Médiéval - the wiki dictionary for middle French, English and other medieval European languages

English: The idea of this wiki is to provide a searchable, collaborative tool and public forum to discuss spellings and meanings of medieval words and phrases. The site is aimed primarily at musical groups performing 'early music' that seek to better understand the texts they are singing and the interface is thus constructed with this in mind.

2) don't delete others' comments or contributions - rather add your own and, if needed, explain your choice. Each entry also has a discussion tab for further commentary.
